On 24th April, 1915, the 1st Honourable Artillery Company battalion of 7 Brigade, 3rd Division were relieved from the trenches at St Eloi, just to the south of Ypres and moved back to billets in Dickebusch. Lancelot Harris was wounded here on 27th April, when their billets were shelled at midday and died from his wounds on the following day. |
